FFL Transfers
If you have a firearm shipped to you from an out-of-state dealer or are having one sent to you from an individual, D4 Tactical is happy to complete the FFL transfer. Transfers across state lines are required through a licensed FFL. Colorado state law requires an FFL transfer and background check for sales between non-licensed persons.
If you made your purchase through an out of State dealer:
The dealer will need a copy of our FFL to ship the firearm. We do not send a copy of our FFL to individuals – we only ship to licensed dealers. The dealer may contact us so that we can submit a copy to them or, they may give you the information on how we need to submit it to them which you can simply forward to us.
If you are receiving a firearm from an individual (not a licensed dealer):
The person who is shipping you the firearm can send it directly to us. They should be sure to include a copy of their I.D. as well as your contact information so that we can contact you once it arrives. Note: Some states only allow dealer-to-dealer shipments. The seller/shipper should make themselves aware of the laws pertaining to their State. Please ask the shipper not to use loose packing peanuts.
It is important to inspect your firearm thoroughly before the completion of the transfer. D4 Tactical does not maintain any responsibility for weapons you purchase. You must contact the manufacturer directly for repair or replacement.
ATTENTION MILITARY CUSTOMERS: If you do not have a Colorado (CO) Driver’s License with your current address on it, you will need to bring a copy of your orders bringing you to Ft. Carson. If you live off-post, you will also need a utility bill or vehicle registration connecting you to your off-post address.
